Internal Home Hospital for complex patients
For all of our patients, and especially for complex and frail patient, the home surroundings are optimal, and allow for maximum comfort, reduction of the risk of infection and other complications that can be caused while admitted to hospitals. The internal home service for complex patients includes the prevention of hospitalizations for complex and frail patients, those who are confined to their homes, and treatments of wounds that are difficult to heal - with full availability nationwide.
Medical centers from where patients are referred to Internal Home Hospital
1.Departments of Emergency Medicine
Patients who came to the hospital due to an acute medical situation requiring admission, but whose clinical condition is sufficiently stable that they can be transferred to Home Hospitalization (for example, infectious illnesses like pneumonia, urinary tract infections).
2. Internal and Surgical wards
Patients who were hospitalized due to an unstable medical condition that were stabilized while admitted but require continued supervision and medical treatment.
3. HMO centers in the community and general (family) practitioners.
Identification of patients requiring hospitalization before coming to the hospital and transferring them to the Home Hospitalization service will save the patient and his family the need to go to the Emergency Room as well as the accompanying costs.
How is the Internal Home Hospital for complex patients managed?
- In the first stage, a visit will conducted by a specialist physician in order to devise an appropriate treatment program for the medical and rehabilitative needs of the patient.

- Contact Center – In addition to the 24/7 availability of the team, a Sabar Health contact center is also available to patients, 24/7, every day of the year.
- An updated evaluation – after stabilizing the medical condition of the patient, an updated evaluation will be performed in order to determine continued treatment.
